Current Students

Welcome MPP Students! Here you can find any and everything you will need throughout the course of this program.

Who should I contact if I have a question?

The MPP Assistant Director is your first line of contact. If your question is better suited by an alternate person or department, the Assistant Director can guide you to the appropriate contact. Assistant Directors are graduate student services staff who can help you with questions regarding, but not limited to; enrollment, tuition and fees, academic petitions, leave requests, and career guidance. In short, these individuals can help you with most administrative tasks, and are qualified to assist with a wide range of situations.

The Faculty Program Director is a university faculty member who leads the MPP program. Students with questions regarding curriculum or other programmatic inquiries can reach out to the MPP Program Director.

Student handbook and program requirements

The MPP Student Handbook and Social Ecology Graduate Student Handbook are updated each fall. Students should refer to these documents for information regarding academic policies and degree requirements for the MPP.

In addition, Graduate Division also issues campus-wide Policies and Procedures for graduate students, including the Graduate Students' Rights and Responsibilities.

Public Policy Student Association (PPSA)

The Public Policy Student Association hosts many professional development and social events throughout the year. For more details, visit the PPSA Website.
